If you’re in the market for a new flagship then Vivo’s new lineup might have something for you the Vivo X80 Pro is the more premium of the two siblings as it has a more powerful camera setup but what else does this phone have. Vivo X80 Pro comes in cosmic black and it’s an elegant but striking phone

there’s a massive camera plate on the back with a smaller camera bump that bears three of the phone’s cameras the camera bump isn’t the only thing that’s oversized the phone also has an extra large fingerprint sensor area like on the iq 9 Pro aside from its gorgeous looks

the Vivo X80 Pro also has ip68 rated dust and water protection the X80 Pro is a big phone it feels much bigger than the x70 Pro and more like the x70 Pro plus design wise on the front you’ll find an almost 6.8 inch ltpo3 amoled panel with a 1440p resolution it has a refresh rate of up to 120 hertz and a touch sampling rate of 300hz hdr10 plus support and most notably support for 1 billion colors that’s quite the movie watching experience

Specifications of the Vivo X80 Pro

Vivo is promising that it’ll have up to 1500 nits of peak brightness so it’ll be a great match for hdr video content the xid Pro has the snapdragon 8 gen 1. so you’ll have the latest android flagship chipset powering your phone and either 8 or 12 gigs of ram due to the powerful processor the phone also has an extra large liquid cooling vapor chamber in order to prevent it from overheating

the Vivo X80 Pro comes with android 12 and fun touch os on top it’s a colourful ui with improved shortcuts and features like customizable icons and folders and a cover lock screen that supports quick actions the phone has a good size 4700 mAh battery which should offer plenty of endurance and speedy fast charging a full charge should take 50 minutes with the 50 watt wireless charger and with the 80 watt wired charger you’re looking at 38 minutes to 100

Camera Features of the Vivo X80 Pro

Vivo has once again partnered with zeiss and a huge part of this phone both metaphorically and literally is the camera setup aside from the zeiss t-lens coating on the cameras themselves you’ll find tracks of the collaboration when you take portraits you get a huge variety of zeiss bokeh modes to choose from as for the hardware itself on the back of the X80 Pro you’ll see a 50 megapixel main snapper with autofocus and ois an eight megapixel periscope telephoto with five times optical zoom

a 12 megapixel telephoto with two times optical zoom and gimbal ois and a 48 megapixel ultroid camera with autofocus and on the front there’s a 32 megapixel selfie camera the phone can shoot video up to 8k at 24fps or 4k at 60fps and thanks to the Vivo v1 plus imaging chip you should have a better filming experience than ever the active centering ois system and the 360 degree horizon levelling stabilization should ensure super steady video capture too

the ultra sensing gnv sensor on the main camera should also mean that you get excellent nighttime photos and shots with balanced exposure this phone is packed to the brim with great features and we cannot wait to test them out and see if they live up to their promise we’re especially curious about that quad camera setup is it really as good as it seems.
